A Very Dapper Unbirthday

I celebrated my very first dapper day ever at Walt Disney World!!! Honestly, I wouldn't have had it any other way. If you aren't sure what dapper day is here is a link to the website to inform you on the spectacularness the wonderfulness and the extraordinariness of this event!
Dapper Day is actually a bigger deal at Disneyland Resort since there are over 1 million passholes  passholders and it's a very local event where more than half the guests dress up. It's not quite as big of a deal at WDW where it's mainly cast members getting dapper.

Anyway, I had the time of my life!!! I honestly don't think anything can tap my first Dapper Day but I am attending the Fall 2014 soiree at Disneyland so we shall see! Did I happen to tell you guys, Dapper Day was also the same day Festival of Fantasy premiered. It is now favorite DIsney parade ever, it even surpasses Soundsational and Main Street Electrical Parade which I have cherished since I was a child. So the whole day was full of wonder.

Had my first meet and greet with Gaston, but definitely not my last. Meeting Gaston is a must on a trip to Walt Disney World, he just has a way to make everyone smile and keeps the conversation going, no matter what, even if the topic is mainly himself.

Everyone often asked us what the special occasion was other than celebrating life. We would then explain to them the soiree. Since we got it so often, I decided to run around Hollywood Studios asking random guests or cast members what year it was. They would answer 2014, usually, and I would exclaim "By Golley! It worked! The time machine worked!!" I happened to brighten this special cast members day so much he rewarded me with a free yummy cupcake, which he then gave one to each of my friends. Needless to say, he was rewarded with a Fanatic card.

Oh February, you bring such dismay

As I have updated you fine fellows on the first month or first few weeks of my program, here is the month of February!

On Valentine's Day, I really wanted to go to the Magic Kingdom to meet all the princesses and their princes' because that is one of the only times they come as a pair for meet and greets for True Love Week. Unfortunately, I was not able to go that whole week because work and Valentine's Day landed on a Friday so I had it off. Bless having Fridays off!!! Since I was still getting to the hang of things I was a big scared to go to the parks by myself so I didn't go that morning but my roommates wanted to go later at night to avoid the overall gooeyness of Valentine's Day. My main focus was meeting Flynn Rider but after waiting 45 mins at Princess Fairy Tale Hall, we were presented with Rapunzel and Snow White by themselves since their counterparts left at 5:30 and its was 7:45. :(

I did try my first dole whip, I don't know why I never tried it at Disneyland????? After trying dole whip this past few weeks at Disneyland, Walt Disney World has more flavors to choose from and for that I was grateful.

I also had my first ever mini photoshoot in my room, which had the perfect lighting. My hair actually never turns out that nice anymore, maybe it's time for a new hairstyle. I'm vibin with Ariana Grande rn!!!

On the last day of February, my roommate and I had a much needed Magic Kingdom day where I met my favorite housekeeping photographer, who you'll see later. We channeled our inner hipster on a very, very, very cold night.

EXCUSES!

I dearly apologize for not posting about any of college program adventures or updates! I graduated from the program August 1 and have been home in sunny California since. I was suppose to start school in Arizona today for my Sophomore year but I chickened out and decided to stay with my parents until I can apply for school here and find a job. My life is ehh but I guess everything is ehh and nothing compared to living at Walt Disney World for the first half of the year.

Since I have no plans on doing anything for the rest of the year, sadly, I'll look through all my photos and posts the stories behind them because Post Disney Depression is a real thing, as was Post Potter Depression.

So here's to staying in my drowned out old town w/o new beginnings and hoping something comes out of it!!!

New State (of Life)

As you can see, I have not posted in quite a bit. I spent the last week in California hanging out with my loved ones and I didn't have enough time to update. So here I am, in my room typing away while my roommate snores herself into deep sleep and I relish the first few hours of WiFi we finally received.

My schedule has been hectic, but that's since I started my training but I've been visiting the parks and Downtown Disney ever since I got down here. I work 40+ hours this week and the next, so I'm excite for the paycheck.

So far, I have had so much fun and enjoy Walt Disney World so much. I've had so much fun and it really is a dream come true. I cried the first time I watched wishes and even my trainer at Traditions noticed the awe upon my face the first time I saw Cinderella's Castle.

I am planning on making some solo visits soon to explore by myself without anyone slowing me down. It has rained the first few times I went to the parks, but that did not stop me from enjoying the magic any less, just more cold and bad hair. Also, this cast member seasonal discount has drained my money. I'll make another post on the basic outline of check-in day and the first week.
